1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern research-material orders placed through Effect. Effect Amino is the seller name supplied for this storefront and is separate from Causa. This site accepts order requests. Effect confirms the contracting seller and final itemized invoice directly before requesting payment.

Placing an order means accepting these terms as they read on the day the order is placed. We keep a dated copy of every version.

2. Research use only is a condition of sale, not a disclaimer

Every material we sell is supplied strictly for laboratory research use. It is not for human or veterinary use in any form. Our full research use only policy forms part of these terms.

By ordering, you confirm that you are acquiring the material for laboratory research, that you are competent to handle it safely, and that you will not administer it to any person or animal or supply it to anyone who will.

This is a condition of the sale. If it is not true, we are not willing to sell to you at any price.

3. Eligibility

• You must be of the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, and at least 21.
• You must be lawfully able to receive the material where you are.
• You must give accurate delivery and contact details.

We may ask for further information before accepting an order and may decline one without giving a reason.

4. Orders and acceptance

A listing on this site is an invitation to order, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. A contract forms only when we send a dispatch confirmation.

We may decline or cancel an order at any point before dispatch, including after payment, and including where a price or description was published in error. Where we do, you get a full refund and nothing else is owed by either side.

5. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are in United States dollars. Every mass-based product also shows a price per milligram, which is the vial price divided by the labeled milligrams and is published for comparison rather than as a separate charge.

Published standard list prices are current. A request is not an accepted order; any applicable tax treatment is itemized in the final invoice before payment.

Effect intends to absorb applicable tax within the final quoted amount rather than add a surprise charge after checkout. A complete item, shipping, and tax breakdown will be shown before an order can be accepted. Bulk tier discounts, where offered, apply to the qualifying order and are not retrospective.

6. Payment

At checkout you may state a preference for Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, or Venmo. That choice is not a payment instruction or a promise that the selected provider is available for this order. Effect does not accept payment through this site; we contact you with an approved business payment request after the final invoice.

Submitting an order or supplying a screenshot, note, or transaction reference does not mean an order is paid. Effect records payment only after an authorized operator verifies cleared funds in the approved business account. An unpaid checkout remains pending until cleared payment is recorded or a customer or authorized operator cancels it; there is no automatic payment expiry.

Zelle requires an eligible Effect business bank account and the bank's permission for that account type and catalog. PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App require approved business or commercial flows for the actual Effect seller and catalog. Personal profiles, Friends & Family transfers, misleading payment notes, and any attempt to avoid provider review or fees are not accepted. Naming a provider does not promise that its buyer protection, dispute process, or any particular remedy applies.

A transfer is not verified merely because it is visible or a customer supplies a reference. Effect must confirm the correct business recipient, cleared amount, payer, and unique transaction reference in the approved account. A duplicate, partial, excess, reversed, or mismatched transfer enters operator review.

Refunds are direct, human-reviewed operations. Effect preserves the original order, paid event, reason, and accounting evidence instead of rewriting history. A refund follows the approved provider or bank process and requires independent operator review. No fixed refund timing or recovery promise is made.

Payment destinations, account handles, bank details, and credentials are not stored in the public site source. Any future request or instruction must be bound to one order and delivered through an approved Effect channel.

7. Shipping, title and risk

Sealed dry lyophilized vials ship from a United States warehouse, packed against light and impact, without a solution or diluent. Cold-chain shipping is not required for the dry powder.

Effect selects the carrier and service for each accepted shipped order and identifies it at dispatch. No carrier, handling window, dispatch date, or delivery date is guaranteed in advance. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier, subject to the express remedies in section 9.

The shipping policy is United States only: one flat $20 charge for a shipped order and free local pickup or delivery in Southwest Florida and Greater Philadelphia. Exact local handoff locations and times are arranged privately only after an order is accepted. No separate shipment-insurance product or insurance promise is offered. 8. Certificates of analysis

Each product is associated with a tested lot. Certificates are retained privately and provided on request after we match the identifier on your vial to the test record. Where a supplied certificate does not match the lot on the vial you received, that is our error and section 9 applies.

A certificate reports what was measured on a sample of that lot. It is not a warranty of fitness for any particular experiment, because we do not know what your experiment is.

9. Returns and replacements

Research material that has left our control cannot be returned to stock because its chain of custody and storage can no longer be verified. Opened items and change-of-mind returns are therefore not accepted.

Effect will replace an item that arrives damaged or whose lot does not match its certificate. Effect will also correct an item that does not match the accepted order. Carrier loss and any refund instead of replacement require operator review; no fixed resolution time is promised.

10. Warranties, and what we do not warrant

We warrant that material supplied will correspond to the identity and purity reported on the certificate for its lot, and that it will be supplied with reasonable care and skill.

We give no other warranty. In particular we do not warrant that any material is fit for any specific research purpose, will reproduce any published result, or is suitable for any use outside a laboratory. We make no representation about any biological, physiological or clinical effect of any material, and nothing on this site should be read as one.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of data, loss of research time, cost of repeating work, or any indirect or consequential loss.

We are not liable for any consequence of the material being used other than for laboratory research, and that exclusion applies however the misuse arose.

12. Your responsibility

You are responsible for handling, storing and disposing of the material safely and lawfully, for any authorization your institution requires, and for complying with the law where you are.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the material other than for laboratory research, or from your supply of it to a third party.

13. Export and sanctions

You may not export, re-export or divert material bought from us in breach of applicable export controls or sanctions, and you confirm you are not a restricted party under them.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when the order was placed. Changes are dated on this page rather than made silently.

15. Governing law

Governing law and the forum for disputes will be stated here once the registered entity is in place, and will follow that entity's jurisdiction. This is one of the open items on our about page rather than something we would rather you did not notice.

Questions about these terms go to the address on our contact page. Questions about dosing or administration are declined, as section 2 explains.

17. Effect Member program

Effect Member is an optional paid membership. The fee shown at checkout is a one-time charge. It is not a subscription, does not renew automatically, and does not authorize Effect to charge another membership fee without the member's new, express agreement.

Membership starts when Effect confirms payment. It belongs to the person or organization identified at purchase, may not be transferred, resold or shared, and may be used only through that member's verified email address.

Member prices are published before purchase and vary by SKU. Membership does not promise one site-wide percentage, a particular product, continuing inventory, a fixed future price or a minimum amount of savings. At checkout, an eligible member receives the lower of the published member price and any public quantity price for which the order qualifies. Offers do not stack unless checkout expressly says they do.

Effect may change eligible products and future prices prospectively. A change does not alter an order already accepted. A material change to the program will be stated clearly before it applies.

The public description 'lifetime' means that Effect does not charge a recurring membership fee while the Effect Member program continues. It does not promise that Effect, the catalog or the program will operate for the natural life of any person.

Effect may suspend access while investigating fraud, credential sharing, chargeback abuse, resale activity or a breach of the research-use-only condition, and may terminate membership for a material breach. Nothing here limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
